From working on the conservation of the Indian Pangolin � the world's most trafficked mammal, saving the Great Indian Bustard with fewer than 150 individuals surviving in the wild, or restoring coral reef ecosystems of which approximately 75% are threatened by human activity today, The Habitats Trust has been at the forefront of generating conservation action for these seldom highlighted causes.

The Jammu & Kashmir Yateem Trust's legacy of service and its impact on the community is indeed impressive. Founded by Late Abdul Khaliq Tak, also known as Tak Zainagiri, in 1972, it stands as the first and oldest charitable organization in Jammu & Kashmir. The Trust's decentralized structure, with 80 units across the region, allows it to effectively reach and assist people in various areas. Guided by a Board of Trustees and led by its patron, the Trust operates with the dedication of numerous volunteers who selflessly contribute their time without seeking compensation. The primary goal of the Trust and its members is to please their Master (Lord) and positively impact the local community, striving to make it a better place to live.

The Mission and goal of this Trust is to reach charitable activities to the helpless and homeless old age people. Home for the Aged was conceived with the purpose of serving Senior Citizens in the sunset years of their lives. This was visualized as a residence with a homely atmosphere so that the Senior Citizens would not feel uprooted from the surroundings to which they were accustomed, and to fill their remaining years with much-needed comfort, care and attention.

The SRO Kashmir Foundation, initially a small trust focused on local needs, has matured into a comprehensive crisis-management organization. Originating from the compassionate efforts of the Srinagar Samaritans, it has garnered widespread support, evolving into a welfare entity that spans the entire region of Kashmir. Its dedication to aiding those in distress and the impoverished has been realized. Over its 17-year history, the NGO has profoundly impacted the community, providing relief to those affected by the 2005 earthquake and leading recovery efforts during the 2014 floods.

Catholic Social Service Society (CSSS) of Jammu & Kashmir, India is a charitable society registered under the Societies Registration Act VI of 1998 (J&K) and bearing no. 618-S of 1981. Established in 1981 and secular in its nature, the society is the official social development wing of the Diocese of Jammu � Srinagar in the State of Jammu & Kashmir. Established with the purpose of addressing the social, economic, political and cultural issues of the marginalized people irrespective of caste, creed and class and sex, CSSS operates in several districts of the state in the areas of community development, livelihood, women empowerment, community health, disability, disaster risk reduction and peace education.

HOPE DISABILITY CENTRE (HDC)-an undertaking of SHE HOPE SOCIETY FOR WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS duly registered under the Societies Act VI of 1998 (1941 A.D) is a non-profit, non-political, non-government, non-religious organization working in the remote, border and disaster prone areas of Jammu and Kashmir on Physical Rehabilitation, Livelihood, Inclusive Education, Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), Public Health, Skill Development for Vulnerable population including people with disabilities since 2001 through Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR), Institutional Based Rehabilitation (IBR) programs/approach in close coordination with the State Administration.

Sahuliyat Kashmir began in 2017, fueled by a deep-rooted commitment to serve the community and uplift those in need. Ved Mandir the idea of having a Ved Mandir was concieved by his Holiness Swami Champa Nath Ji Maharaj,a saint. Maharaja Pratap Singh laid the foundation stone of Ved Mandir on 20th December,1916.Maharaja Pratap Singh had given 10 and a half Acres land as grant to serve good causes.
