Alliance India is a non-governmental organisation founded in 1999. Operating in partnership with civil society, government, and communities, we support sustained responses to HIV in India that protect rights and improve health. Complementing the Indian national program, we build capacity, provide technical support, and advocate to strengthen the delivery of effective, innovative, community-based HIV programs to vulnerable populations affected by the epidemic.

WaterAid India reached 536,266 people with water access and 353,144 with sanitation, prioritizing marginalised groups such as Dalits, Adivasis, and the urban poor. In Bihar, it supported state water and sanitation policies, while in Jharkhand, 72 communities demanded WASH rights, ensuring water for 98,330 and sanitation for 89,867 people. Village Water Security Plans were developed in Andhra Pradesh, and Hyderabad initiated uniform water quality tracking.

In January 2019, Zomato and Feeding India (registered as Hunger Heroes) collaborated to eradicate hunger and malnutrition in India. All efforts are concerted towards providing better food to more people. Through our targeted interventions for child and maternal malnutrition, we are working towards bringing large-scale systemic transformation in the nutrition landscape of India.
